The Team of TQA Australia have preparations underway for their table decorations at Breakfast in the Park 2011.
TQA Australia will again be presenting the perpetual trophy for the 'Best dressed table'. Extra points may be awarded to groups who not only dress their table but themselves to continue their Christmas theme.
Set the mood for a great Christmas weekend with workmates and friends. Bring food and utensils to Roundhouse Park opposite the Oldaker Street roundabout. Find a spot around the tables, use the barbecue and toasters provided or take it easy and purchase a breakfast cooked for you. Presented and catered for by Rotary Club of Devonport North.

TQA Australia Says Goodbye to its Managing Director
TQA Australia says goodbye to its Managing Director, Jane Lovell who has left after 13.5 years at the helm.
Jane was farewelled with a function at the Mezza Lounge in Devonport. 33 work colleagues and clients attended the night which had the theme of "a splash of purple", Jane's favourite colour as well as the colour of TQA Australia. There were purple ties, scarves, shirts and skirts, you name it and it was there. Shane, the purple carrots were a stroke of genius!
Team members earlier in the day presented Jane with a photo book of images sourced from clients and storage boxes that told Jane's story with TQA Australia over the last 13 years.
Jane - good luck in your new role, but be prepared to not have anywhere near as much fun as you have had with us! We will miss you dearly.....
Raclette and Fondue Night - April 2011
The TQA Australia team got together for a Raclette and Fondue night at Tundra's place recently. The traditional dish can be described as melted cheese eaten with boiled (or roasted) potatoes with small gherkins and pickled onions. Raclette is another way of enjoying simple and delicious cooking incorporating lots of interactivity and of course lots of cheese. It was a really fun night, good food and great company.

Jane Lovell was surprised this week by two representatives from Westpac Bank Devonport, they arrived during a team meeting to present Jane with her Ruby Connection Award. Matt Sturzaker, Business Services Representative and Julie Turley, head of Westpac Women's Markets, Devonport arrived mid morning armed with a certificate and book to present to Jane and a very large cake for the rest of the TQA Australia team to enjoy!

TQA Australia - Campfire Christmas - December 2010
The Team of TQA Australia chose to celebrate Christmas a little differently in 2010. Keeping with our Aussie Christmas theme for Breakfast in the Park, the team members decided to have a campfire Christmas, which meant the whole meal was cooked by team members and everything had to be cooked in the campfire.
The fire was built and lit early to enable lots of hot coals to cook the meal. Entree of chilli prawns and scallops, followed by baked potatoes and assorted vegetables cooked in beer in foil cups, camp oven pizza and for dessert oranges filled with chocolate cake and bananas with chocolate..... and to finish off toasted marshmallows. Yum!!
