Freshcare Food Safety and Quality Training |
(provided under license to Freshcare)
Freshcare is the Australian Fresh Produce Industry’s own on-farm food safety program. Freshcare is a national, industry owned, not for profit program suitable for all growers of fresh produce. Based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles, the Freshcare Code of Practice describes the practices required on-farm to provide an assurance that the fresh produce grown is safe to eat. Freshcare training provides the tools required to undertake your own on farm risk assessment, implement the code of practice and maintain the necessary records.
The simplest and most cost effective route to Freshcare Certification is through a Freshcare Training Package: • Initial one day training with a follow up half day training/remote support option for growers who have no previous food safety training, or • follow-up/refresher training for growers who have previously participated in an approved supplier course or equivalent.
For more information on Freshcare Food Safety and Quality training please contact the TQA Australia office.
