Sponsored registrations for Australian primary producers
Twenty one sponsored registrations were provided by Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) to growers to attend the 2009 conference.
Ten fruit growers, nine vegetable growers, and two nut growers have been selected from an open application process to attend the full event and receive up to $500 reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs. The twenty one growers were selected from around Australia with 28% coming from Victoria and Queensland, 14% from New South Wales, 9% from Western Australia and Tasmania, and 5% from South Australia and Northern Territory. The sponsorships were funded through a HAL project using a voluntary contribution from TQA Australia and matched funding from the Australian Government.
Winemaker's Federation of Australia sponsored the registration of eight wine industry members to also attend the 2009 conference and receive up to $450 reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs.
Thank you to everyone who applied.
Please send a copy of your receipts to Amanda Wilson at TQA Australia by 11 December to receive your reimbursement.
